Dutchess of Ink, the creative force behind Pretty-N-Ink, is a remarkable artist with a journey that’s as inspiring as her art. Hailing from Lincolnton, North Carolina, Dutchess displayed exceptional artistic talent from an early age. Always at the head of her class, she graduated cum laude from North Carolina A&T State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Visual Art.

In 2010, Dutchess embarked on a journey to share her extraordinary talent with a wider audience. She made the bold move to New York City, where she swiftly became a highly esteemed member of the ink community. Her career took an exhilarating turn when she received an opportunity that would alter her life – a chance to shine on VH1.
🎶 Music and Artistry
Beyond her ink and artistry, Dutchess is also a musician with several hit singles to her name, including ESPN TRADED, DUTCHOLOGY, and M.A.D. Her music is a reflection of her true self, breaking free from societal expectations. She co-owns AMBITIOUS DAYDREAMS, a black-owned media and production company responsible for producing music videos for superstars like Dutchess herself, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Kevin Gates, Casanova, and many more. The company has also ventured into filmmaking with titles like False Advertisement, Dirty Game, and Moved, as well as the captivating lifestyle competition docuseries, Beyond Goals.

Dutchess is steadfast in her mission to prove that she’s one of the best, refusing to rest on her laurels.

While pursuing her M.B.A. in graduate school, Dutchess had a serendipitous encounter that would change her life’s trajectory – she discovered her passion for tattoo artistry. In no time, she transformed into a respected and sought-after tattoo artist in her local community.
