In a city where tens of thousands of vehicle crashes occur each year, many survivors find themselves burdened with chronic pain, mounting medical bills, and limited options when their insurance or legal claims dry up. That’s where AngelicCore Stretch, led by accident survivor turned healer Nickie Young, steps in, offering deep stretch therapy and recovery-based movement as a credible, affordable path to real relief.
After surviving a devastating car accident in 2020 that left the right side of her body numb, Nickie refused to let pain define her future. Instead, her journey to recovery led her to discover a deep passion for healing, one stretch at a time. Today, as the proud owner and certified instructor behind AngelicCore Stretch, Young is helping Atlanta residents restore their strength, mobility, and peace of mind through stretch-based wellness and recovery programs.
When doctors diagnosed her with a slipped disc and arthritis in her back, Young turned to Pilates in search of relief. Within just three weeks, she saw noticeable improvements, and within a year, she made a life-changing decision: she would become certified herself. Since February 2025, she’s earned certifications in Mat and Reformer Pilates, Barre’, and a Holistic Healer–Stretch Therapy Practitioner Certification coming this December. She also holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (MBA).
“Stretching became my lifeline,” said Young. “It wasn’t just physical healing; it was emotional and spiritual. I realized how much the body holds on to stress, pain, and trauma, and how powerful stretching can be in helping people release that.”
At AngelicCore Stretch, Young specializes in recovery-focused stretch therapy that emphasizes deep, intentional stretching. Her studio offers a range of services, including Pilates, Barre, Holistic Stretch Therapy, Paint & Sip Experiences, and Wax Melt-Making Workshops, all designed to encourage relaxation, connection, and healing.
Her clients are often women, ages 25–50, who suffer from chronic pain in their hips, back, knees, wrists, and legs, many of whom are recovering from car accidents, work injuries, surgeries, or even battle-related trauma. In a city where car accidents and stress-related injuries are common, Young’s work offers a much-needed path to recovery and balance.
“Stretching is not a luxury, it’s essential,” Young says. “When doctors push painkillers or insist on endless treatments, many survivors are left to fend for themselves. I built AngelicCore Stretch to fill that gap.”
As AngelicCore Stretch continues to grow, Young hopes to expand her services throughout metro Atlanta, offering more recovery workshops and wellness experiences for those struggling with chronic pain, stress, or limited mobility. Her mission is simple yet profound: to help others rebuild their bodies and their peace of mind, one stretch at a time.
